GOAT SKINS FIFA World Cup Host City Collection — complete collector's guide

The GOAT SKINS® FIFA World Cup 2026™ Host City Collection is a series of 16 officially licensed wearable artifacts — one per host city of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Each city edition is strictly limited to 999 pieces globally, individually numbered, NFC authenticated from manufacture, and shipped with a numbered certificate of authenticity. This guide covers everything a collector needs to know.
The collection structure
16 host cities. 16 separate editions. 999 pieces per city. 15,984 artifacts total across the entire collection. Each city edition is entirely independent — a collector can acquire the New York edition, the Miami edition, or every city edition. Each holds its own independent scarcity (999 pieces) and its own independent registry.
The 16 host cities are: New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Kansas City, Seattle, Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco/Bay Area, Boston, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, Toronto, Vancouver.
Every piece across all city editions carries the same authentication infrastructure: NFC chip, individual numbering, certificate of authenticity, and GOAT SKINS® ownership registry.
What the collector receives
When a GOAT SKINS® Host City artifact arrives, the collector receives: the artifact itself (the wearable piece, individually numbered and NFC embedded), a numbered certificate of authenticity matching the piece number, and instructions for registering ownership on the GOAT SKINS® registry.
The NFC chip is pre-registered to the edition number at manufacture. When the new owner taps the chip and registers ownership, they become the recorded owner on the GOAT SKINS® registry. Future NFC taps by any device will show the ownership record.
Verifying before purchase on the secondary market
For any secondary market purchase of a GOAT SKINS® Host City artifact: tap the NFC chip before completing the transaction. The chip will display the piece number, the city edition, the production date, and the current ownership record. Confirm the piece number matches the physical numbering on the artifact and the certificate number. If any of these three do not match, do not complete the purchase.
The edition limits
Once 999 pieces are produced for a given city, that edition closes permanently. GOAT SKINS® does not reopen closed editions. There is no restock, no waiting list for closed editions. Closed editions are available only through secondary collector markets.
